New Age and many other similar groups have their own experiences of God. Some learned something thru Near Death Experiences which is not learnable thru any other religion. My question is, how do you understand God?

We certainly come to know about Him through these sources. It is really confusing. Isnt it? Let me ask you a simple question How do you understand feelings like Love, Hungry or so on? Only through experiencing the same feelings. Am I right or not? God can be experienced, felt, tasted and seen by individuals who really want to realize Him. So, My humble request is dont try to understand God, bcoz those understandings were influenced in a bad way by many other things. Although the fashion industry is indeed extremely superficial, I stay informed because I like to see new ideas. I take ideas from the magazines and shows and make them my own. If I never see what everybody else is doing, how will I get new ideas for what I am going to do? Im not a slave to fashion, Im more of a curious onlooker I simply take the ideas and personalize them to fit me and my likes.

You cant. We cannot know whether what we see as reality is really that maybe it is just a fantasy, a dream, and there is no reality. What we can do is have an opinion based on what we know at the time. I believe we can decide what we think is most likely but remain open minded. People who are dogmatic about things and think that they have found the whole truth are dangerous. Most of what we see as the truth is likely to be part of the story but not all of it.
